How long do permanent lights last?

Apollo's permanent lighting uses LEDs rated for 50,000-plus hours. At a typical few hours of evening use per day, that works out to roughly 15 to 20 years of use before the LEDs are expected to dim significantly.

Are permanent lights visible during the day?

No, not really. The track is color-matched to your trim and sits tight against the eave, so it is discreet in daylight - most visitors never notice it until the lights come on.

Can the LED track be cut to length?

Yes. The LED track is fitted and sized to match your home's exact roofline during installation, so every run is configured specifically for your house rather than using pre-set lengths.

What power supply do permanent lights need?

Your installation is wired to a dedicated, weatherproof power supply installed as part of the professional installation - no extension cords or plugging in required.

Are permanent lights waterproof and UV resistant?

Yes. Apollo's permanent lighting uses waterproof, anti-UV housing built to handle Oklahoma heat, storms, and sun exposure year-round without fading or water damage.

Do I need to replace bulbs like traditional string lights?

Apollo's own local Oklahoma City crew handles every project professionally, from measurement through final app setup - there is no ladder work or DIY required on your end.

Do I need soffits for permanent lighting to be installed?

No. While permanent lighting is most commonly mounted under the eave or soffit, homes without traditional soffits can still be fitted using alternative mounting methods. Your installer assesses your home's rooflines and recommends the best approach during your quote.

How long does installation take?

Installation time depends on the size and complexity of your home's rooflines. Your installer will give you a time estimate specific to your project as part of your free quote.

Can permanent lighting be used year-round?

What if my HOA restricts lighting hours or seasons?

The app's scheduling feature lets you set specific on and off times or seasonal presets, which makes it easy to comply with HOA lighting hour restrictions if your community has them.

What happens if a light on my system fails?

If an LED or component ever needs attention, reach out to Apollo and the issue will be assessed and resolved. Because the system is zoned and individually controllable, an issue with one small section does not affect the rest of your display.

Does Apollo's permanent lighting come with a warranty?

Yes. Apollo installations include a five-year manufacturer's warranty and a one-year labor warranty, excluding damage caused by acts of God or nature.
